The drainage channels are properly constructed and directed towards the pond.

The base of pond is filled with the silt which is not allowing the water to percolate into ground and thus increasing the volume of the pond.

The pond has the surrounding free GP area.

The pond needs a segregation tank and a Sewage treatment plant to convert waster water into usable water.

The pond requires a segregation tank for solid waste removal and a greean stp for the treatment of Waste water.

Waste water of 60% village Population getting accumulated near the Expressway, the cross drainage is provided beneath the road which let the water moves and accumulated into the pond constructed by GP.

The sewage waste water of this Pond contains Dirty Water and Solid Wastes.


The pond is Small in size as compare to the amount of sewage water coming, proper drainage is also not present to divert the water into the pond.


As GP land is available there, a large Pond with three pond system of cleaning the water can be constructed or STP can be installed.
TAJNAGAR



LOCATION: Near to Tajnagar Railway Station.
AREA: 1.5 Acre

The pond is at depressed waterlogged Area, will be receiving the excess water of rainfall also.

Through the field visit, following conclusion has been drawn:.
This was the large pond, which is divided into two parts by the road construction, Part 1 is dried; Part 2 is full of sewage water.

The Spillway of Part 2 is diverted into the Part 1 that means the excess sewage water goes into Part 1, which only receives water from rain.

Part 2 receives constant discharge of the sewerage water from the village through Proper Drainage Lines directed into the Pond

The sewage waste water of this Pond contains Water Hyacinth, Dirty Water and Solid Wastes.

The repairing and Boundary wall construction work of Part 1 is in Progress.

1 killa of Gram Panchayat land is available in between both the part, will be helpful in setting up Micro STP.

The base of the pond is filled with silt which is not allowing the water to percolate into the ground and thus increasing the volume of the pond.

The Pond is surrounded by Farm Lands, Farmers sometimes uses this sewage water for irrigation purposes also.

6. The Gram Panchayat does not have any funds or capital for the cleaning of the pond.



7. The Pond is receiving 50% of the wastewater from the Village.



8. Bad odor is emitted from the pond, indicative of the fact that the pond is filled with

sewage, and segregation of waste/ treatment of water is required.
BANGROLA 2



LOCATION: Village Pond near Shamshan

are willing to extend any help that may be required.

1. The pond is surrounded by vegetation on its periphery and does not have paved roads

that lead to the pond and the pond is attached to the main road.



2. The pond water quality is poor as the villagers dump their garbage and waste into the

pond such as plastic waste.



3. The Gram Panchayat does not have any capital for the rejuvenation of the project,

however are ready to co-operate for any help that may be required.



4. The pond receives 80% of the wastewater generated by the village and therefore scum

is floating on the surface of the pond.



5. Immediate attention is required in terms of waste segregation and treatment of the

pond.

3. There are walls being constructed on two sides of the pond, and a bore that is being

constructed inside the pond.



4. There is no land available near the pond from the Gram Panchayat.



5. The Gram Panchayat has no funds for pond rejuvenation efforts.



6. There is a water tank near the pond, which stores the wastewater, and is ultimately re-

routed to the pond.



7. The wastewater from the Village is not getting discharged into the Pond.
